A full day in Aurora gave us a chance to get in some much needed sleep and exercise. I have been training for a marathon, so after a long and leisurely breakfast with John and Nancy, I headed out to run 9 miles. Jonathon took off with John on a canoeing trip down the Pine River. "It was magical," Jonathon said.
The show in Aurora was lovely. The audience was warm, great at singing along, and I was pleased to receive many hugs after the show. Boris the Bassoon was pleased to be selling some t-shirts, as well. The show ended with Hal and Carol Wenzel's homemade cookies and bars, a welcome treat for us before we had to head back to the cabin to study some music for the following day, when we headed to Appleton at....5am!
