What a great few days we've had. A ferry ride across the sound (complete with sea lions sunning on a buoy), a wonderful show in Olalla with some amazing and inspired people, a morning in Port Orchard with a potluck, and, after a lovely drive through southern Washington and a great view of Mt. Ranier, a beautiful concert at Reedwood in Portland.The northwest inspires a lot of the Wisconsiner in me. The gorgeous trees and the fresh air are refreshing us on our tour. But perhaps the best part of this tour has been meeting so many wonderful people. The trail of new friends will be long by the time we reach Las Vegas, and I couldn't be happier about it.
Tomorrow Jonathon and I celebrate our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. We'll be galavanting around Portland with my sister and brother-in-law. If you see us around, say hi. We'll be the ones with bells on.
