We had a great last two days in Portland. On our anniversary we had biscuits for brunch, then headed to Washington Park and explored the arboretum. After a long walk, with monkey puzzle and redwoods, we returned home to reboot. After that we had a celebration dinner with our family and friends at a yummy Thai restaurant.
Today Jonathon taught a grade school class of kids a lesson in song writing. We all wrote a song together, which we performed at a concert we gave to the whole school. The kids loved the song writing, and they were als
o really interested by my instruments.
Tonight we had a low key concert out in Vancouver, Washington, complete with ice cream social at the end and some wonderful folks. Tomorrow we're going to explore Powell's before heading out to Grants Pass.
