Beautiful Everett

So happy to see you!
We arrived yesterday in beautiful Seattle after a 3am taxi ride to the airport, a 6am flight andshort drive through some beautiful forest later we arrived at the house of Kirk and Linda Baker. We were immediately greeted by these two faces. That's right, two beautiful golden retrievers welcomed us to our temporary home. After a nap and a snack (and a little time playing their beautiful grand piano) we headed out to Beautiful Savior in Everett.

After a drive that was slightly longer than expected (who knew Everett was an hour from Maple Valley? Not us...), we had a great show. The audience was warm and excited and there was fresh pie. Best of all, we were able to meet playwright Nick Stokes, who wrote the play "Sing" for us last July. It was great to meet him in person, to chat about life, family, and of course the great state of Montana. We hope to see more of him sometime soon, and wish him the best for his staged reading of Duels at Seattle Rep through NPA, Tuesday, November 8 at 7pm. We can't be there, but if you live in Seattle, try to make your way there.
